Be You

Our Be You programme is dedicated to develop confidence, self-esteem, resilience, life skills and wellbeing in young women and girls.

The programme aims to inspire young women and girls to make positive choices and empower them to recognise their potential and follow their own path.

What is Be You?

Be You uses the power of sport and physical activity to support and empower young women and girls by developing life skills, physical wellbeing, and mental wellbeing. Be You is delivered for females and by females, with staff using their own experiences to support young people through their journeys.

We use a PSHE-style curriculum that focuses on developing key like skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication, resilience, and confidence that empowers participants to have a positive outlook on life as a female. We also incorporate rugby’s core values - Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, Sports(wo)manship. We help young females understand how these values can support their everyday life.

Sessions are designed to encompass workshop-based learning and activities, as well as a chance to be physically active in an engaging, friendly and safe environment.
