INSPIRE impact
Our INSPIRE programme uses wellbeing a s tool to promote core functional skills in young people.
INPSIRE offers young people the opportunity to discover their true potential and develop skills via inclusive and practical based workshops.
Student W:
At the start of the programme W was very quiet and low in confidence and self esteem. During the programme W has fully engaged in all individual and small group tasks, and has embraced all challenges. The confidence W has displayed has soared and on several occasions, and she now leds group discussions and presentations.
It is clear that W’s confidence and self esteem has grown, she is now more self aware and has the belief she can achieve anything she puts her mind to. The combination of classroom workshops and physical activity has clearly impacted on her wider wellbeing and promoted a positive growth mindset.
Student X:
X has shown she is a practical but an often quiet student, whose confidence was clearly low when the INPSIRE programme was introduced, significantly impacting on her mental wellbeing. Each week she participated positively with an open attitude and has flourished into a confident young person.
Her communication skills have improved significantly, enabling her to complete additional challenges and discover new skills. This new found confidence as provided her with the communication skills and resilience to create new friendships. She continues to grow her confidence each week, and is starting to explore and discover her full potential.
Student Y:
Y has lots of complex issues and so far in his early life his confidence has been considerably knocked. Since the INSPIRE programme began, Y has built his resilience and started to speak out about his views and desires with a mature attitude. We have observed an increase in his self belief and being more open minded, clearly displaying improved mental wellbeing since the programme began.
Y’s tutors noticed a change in him this academic year, he is studying harder and is more focused on passing all of his exams to get him to the next stage of his life.
Student Z:
Z has soared in confidence in just 6 weeks and has developed his resilience, communication skills and confidence. He continues to put himself forward to complete tasks where he connects each experience with the skills he is developing and potential opportunities he could be exposed to.
He is embracing all information and tasks covered throughout the programme and contributes positively each week.
