Primary School Engagement Breakfast Launched

Calling all Primary Schools!

Blues Foundation are delighted to launch a new and exciting ‘Engagement Breakfast’ on Wednesday 20th March at Goldington Road, home of Bedford Blues RFC.

Since our launch back in 2020, we have been extremely proud of our service provision with primary schools right the way across Bedfordshire – ranging from curriculum-based activities including the award winning Rugby & Reading programmes to additional resources such as afterschool clubs and tag rugby.

This first networking breakfast event hosted in our Foundation HUB, where a lot of our external provision takes place, will be a chance for like minded individuals to get together and discuss the latest trends – and we’d love for as many people to attend as possible!

The details:

  • Where: The Dovecote Park Suite, Bedford Blues Rugby Club, Goldington Road, Bedford, MK40 3NF

  • When: Thursday 21st March, 8.30am – 10.30am.

  • Parking: free on site

Whether you’re a teacher, governor or school representative; it would be great to have your input!

  • Meet some of our ambassadors and playing squad.

  • Enjoy breakfast and refreshments with colleagues from other primary schools.

As part of our new and established relationship with Luton Town’s Community Trust, we are delighted to announce representatives from Bedfordshire’s leading football team will also be in attendance to join in the discussion.

Attendance is completely FREE to book a space, simply email larissa@bluesfoundation.org.uk to register interest or CLICK HERE.

Blues Foundation Manager, Tom Harwood said: “We are incredibly proud of our impact and activation offered and delivered to primary schools across Bedfordshire and this is something we want to continue developing, hence the announcement of this engagement breakfast.

“It’s really important to never stand still and we want to find out innovative and creative ways to tailor our work to suit current trends. Speaking with people involved directly within the sector will be crucial to allow us to do that.

“Please do get in touch and help shape our output, as well as meeting like minded individuals as we look to pool resources to create the best educational experience for young pupils in our community.”
