Blues Foundation Partners with Biggleswade Rugby Club

In an exciting new partnership, Bedford Blues Foundation and Biggleswade Rugby Club are joining forces to promote youth rugby and support community engagement in Biggleswade. The collaboration aims to provide expert coaching sessions for club members and coaches, strengthen ties with local schools, and expand opportunities for young players through specialised rugby camps.

This partnership will see Bedford Blues Foundation’s professional coaches and players delivering high-quality coaching sessions at Biggleswade Rugby Club, allowing players in the Mini and Junior sections to benefit from elite training. The sessions are designed to develop young athletes’ skills, confidence, and love for the sport. The initiative aligns with both organisations’ commitment to fostering a strong rugby community and creating a positive impact through sport.

One of the standout features of the partnership is Biggleswade Rugby Club becoming an official hub for Blues Foundation’s rugby camps. These camps, scheduled throughout the year, will provide young players with opportunities to enhance their skills, learn from experienced coaches, and meet new friends. The camps are designed for all levels, from beginners to more advanced players, helping to grow the Mini and Junior sections at Biggleswade RFC.

Camp dates for 2025:

  • 1 Day February Camp - Friday 20th February

  • 3 Day Easter Camp - Tuesday 15th - Thursday 17th April

  • 3 Day Summer Camp - Tuesday 12th - Wednesday 14th August
