TRY to Change Details Announced

Blues Foundation are delighted to confirm details for the pilot initiative of the latest flagship project, TRY to Change which will begin in less than six weeks’ time.

In collaboration with experienced staff at the University of Bedfordshire, a 10-week health and wellbeing programme has been created to help find a practical solution that empowers each individual to make small but lasting steps to their lives.

This is the latest initiative created by the two organisations who finalised a formal partnership exactly one year ago. Click here to read the full details.

TRY to Change aims to provide a realistic, sustainable weight management programme for people looking to make positive lifestyle changes, as well as focusing on promoting positive physical and mental wellbeing.

Via a combination of exercise classes, smaller bitesize workshops and informational sessions; taking pointers from all these different methods of learning will aid each individual embed positive behavioural traits long term.

The first 10-week programme will begin on Wednesday 4th May and will run weekly thereafter at the University of Bedfordshire campus; located just a five-minute drive from Goldington Road, home of Bedford Blues.

Following the pilot, further courses will be designed taking advice from participants as to which training and vocational techniques work best in line with the results each participant achieves.
