More ABILITY Blues SportsZone sessions launched from 17th Sept

Blues Foundation are delighted to announce the next batch of ABILITY Blues sessions begins from this Saturday morning, delivered in partnership with Bedford Borough Council’s Sportzone programme.

These sessions have been running for close to a year at the John Bunyan Sports Centre and provide more inclusive opportunities for Blues Foundation to deliver activation to suite all service users.

We are delighted to be working again with Sportzone, who have provided numerous multi-sport provision on behalf of the council for a number of years, and we are delighted to be teaming up to deliver one of our flagship activations to disabled young people in the town, aged 7-15.

Saturday Mornings, 17th September – 17th December, 9.30am - 11am.

Launched in October 2020, ABILITY Blues has been one of our most uplifting and inspirational provision delivered by our charity, providing an inclusive setting to ensure everyone has access to sports provision.

The project sees us work with numerous schools and educational settings, providing bespoke sessions for all service users and creating highly inspirational and uplifting stories.

These upcoming Saturday sessions will begin on 17th September and last for fourteen weeks, with each individual session priced at £4. Each session will be from 10am-12pm at the John Bunyan Sports Centre, MK42 9TS.

Specifically designed to cover a variety of disciplines, exercise methods and games; all sessions will also focus on socialising, building friendships and developing fundamental core skills. In addition, there will also be a focus on positive physical and mental health, as well as mental wellbeing.
