UK Truck & Plant Group’s Managing Director, Ashley Weller has committed his support to offering upskilling workshops as part of our flagship project’s offering, with further members of the company also set to get involved. This will allow even more young people additional opportunities to fulfil their potential.
Ashley Weller Said:
“We are looking forward to working with The Blues Foundation, and being able to support the local youth of Bedford, giving them moral, educational and social support through the TackleLIFE campaign. As a local employer, we are keen to give those who may have fallen out of mainstream education, the ability to gain skills for employment, training and qualifications, in an adult learning environment, whilst also enabling them to become part of a wider responsible community. The initiative is part of our three pillars of company commitment, to invest within the local community and to encourage youngsters into skilled employment that may not have been able to access within a school environment.”
Blues Foundation are extremely grateful to all our affiliated sponsors, charity fundraisers, CHAMPIONs and general supporters for their assistance in allowing the charity to do what it does and continue to make a systematic difference to residents throughout Bedfordshire.
It simply would not be possible to carry out the volume of work currently on offer without support like this and we are very grateful to be located within a town with such a passion for helping others.
