INSPIRE empowers young people to develop core functional skills through practical workshops and physical activity.
We harness each young persons potential and provide a positive approach to build their leadership, teamwork and communication, whilst also focusing on their wellbeing.
Wellbeing is so important for people of all ages, but particularly young people living in modern day society. INSPIRE focuses on applying a balanced approach to wellbeing to enhance skills and support young peoples understand of the role wellbeing has on living a happy and fulfilled life.
four blocks of inspire:
INSPIRE is broken down into four blocks which all compliment each either. As we work through the blocks, the activities and tasks all refer back to the skills learnt throughout the programme to ensure continuity embedding the key messages. That said, these blocks can also be delivered standalone, here is some more information about each block.
Personal Development: Focusing on core skills, we use this block to support each young person understand their own strengths and development areas, apply these to positive goal setting, and establish their leadership, communication and teamwork skills, whilst building their resilience.
Healthy Lifestyles: Do your young people understand how they can practically adopt a healthy healthy lifestyle? We combine physical and mental health to promote a balanced approach to wellbeing.
Social Action: We support students understand what social action is and why it is important. We provide the skills needed to plan events and how they can use social action to develop their functional skills.
Employability: We support each young person to create an action plan that uses the skills they have developed and apply this to practical job opportunities. This, alongside mock interviews and techniques, we promote a positive mindset to compliment their dreams and aspirations.
