Blues Foundation rugby camps this Summer

Following some fantastic engagement over recent months and years, Blues Foundation are delighted to return with some Community Rugby Camps to be held this summer within Bedford.

More than 500 young people have joined us for our various school holiday activation in the past two years; enhancing and learning new skills as well as re-introducing key elements of sport which were otherwise largely missing in that period due to the extremely stringent COVID-19 regulations.

These rugby camps will take on a familiar format to the traditional Blues Community activation of yesteryear and will bring together a perfect blend of experience and knowledge to focus on the key elements of rugby in a fun and safe environment.

Additionally, there will be numerous team building, resilience, friendship building and enrichment segments across the two days, delivered through a variety of fun games and activities.

The first three-day camp will be held at Fusion, Bedford Athletics Stadium (MK41 9SB) between Tuesday 26th July – Thursday 28th July before a return to Goldington Road, home of Bedford Blues (MK40 3NF) from Tuesday 23rd August – Thursday 25th August.

Each day will last between 10am-3pm with early drop off and late pick-up options available. Please click here to head to the booking form and register your child onto the course (s).

For ages between 6-12 years old, with all ability levels welcomed, this is the perfect option to work with first-class. Highly skilled coaches to work on skill development within a rugby setting.

Prices have been frozen from those before the merger of Blues Foundation and Blues Community. This means each three-day camp is available for £70, with the £10 discount still available for Junior Blues members as before. Click here to book.

Blues Foundation are aware of the increased measures brought in following the pandemic and will continue to operate with preventative measures including the readily available supply of hand sanitizer to ensure safety of staff, parents and participants.
