VACANCY: Community Rugby Coach
We have an exciting opportunity to expand our workforce with a new Community Rugby Coach position, delivering on our rugby and school sport programmes and initiatives.
Successful applicants will join our existing Blues Foundation coaches in implementing a full suite of rugby and sport related programmes in schools, as well as delivering rugby camps and multi-sport activity camps across Bedford and Central Bedfordshire.
Community Rugby Coach Responsibilities:
Deliver high quality rugby sessions across a range of projects designed by Blues Foundation in school and community settings, including tag, touch and contact rugby.
Activate curriculum programmes across primary and secondary schools, multisport sessions including ABILITY Blues, and other sport related projects and camps where appropriate.
Deliver to a range of abilities, backgrounds and audiences with sessions delivered in school hours as well as some evening and weekend work.
Work with Head of Delivery and RDO to support and develop our matchday offer.
Plan, organise and review all sessions. As well as complete aspects of administration, monitoring and evaluation of sessions required.
Maintain a high standard of health and safety throughout delivery and implementation of correct safeguarding procedures.
Positively represent and promote Blues Foundation and the Bedford Blues brand. Maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude and energy to delivery.
Ability to work independently and to our core values.
The successful candidate will be reliable, hardworking, trustworthy, and willing to work as part of the team for the benefit of Blues Foundation and the wide variety of projects delivered.
