FOUNDATION DAY | FULL GUIDE

We’re excited for our second ever ‘Foundation Day’ at Goldington Road this Saturday and can now fully reveal all we’ve got planned to keep everyone entertained on matchday.

This is a huge opportunity for our charity to showcase the work we have done to date across Bedfordshire as well as fundraise some vital donations which will go towards sustaining the current offering and look into additional activation in the future also.

The headline this matchday sees us partner with SSG – thanks to Blues Foundation Ambassador, Emma Graham for her help with this – to have an inflatable assault course running across the training paddock and sure to provide a unique challenge for the younger ones in attendance at the game.

We are also delighted to have representatives from the U10s and U11s age groups of Junior Blues, Biggleswade and Royston who will not only form the Bellway Homes Guard of Honour, but also participate in a rugby showcase also on the training field with some of our coaching staff.

Elsewhere, as announced earlier this week, Sacha Harding and his team down at SHIFT Personal Training Club will be cycling the distance between Bedford and Jersey on WattBikes outside the CMC Marquee. Please click here for further details.

The easiest way to donate to our charity on the day is through the Eco Cup return bin as you leave Goldington Road on matchday. Simply drop your cup (s) into the bin located next to the SHIFT gazebo in order to donate money to our charity.

There will also be a raffle for everyone to get involved with, TRY cards available to all those who would like them as they prepare to cheer on Mike Rayer’s side, and an intriguing ‘Guess the Number’ competition as we fill one of our Oliver Landpower Trucks full of balloons!

Finally, there’s a design the shirt competition for younger supporters to enter.
