VACANCY: Activity Deliverer - ABILITY Blues

We have exciting opportunities to work on our inclusive sport programme, ABILITY Blues, support disabled young people in Bedford and surrounding areas.

If you are passionate about supporting young people with disabilities, this role is for you. Our ABILITY Blues programme focuses on promoting health and wellbeing, as well as promoting the wider benefits of physical activity. We have casual weekend and evening hours for people who want to make a difference.

Responsibilities:

The Activity Deliverer will be responsible for delivering health, wellbeing and multisport related programmes designed by Blues Foundation. Specifically, our ABILITY Blues programme, but with opportunities to deliver on our wider work where appropriate. The role will require delivery of a range of high quality and engaging activities for targeted groups.

ABILITY Blues is our inclusive sport and exercise offer for young disabled people, providing opportunities to be active and experience the wider benefits of being active. The programme is designed to provide inclusive, social and engaging experiences to promote communication, interaction, fundamental movement and core skills.

The successful candidate will be passionate about improving the lives of people from all backgrounds. They will be reliable, hardworking, trustworthy, and willing to work as part of the team for the benefit of Blues Foundation and the wide variety of projects delivered.
