Autism Bedfordshire partnership launched
Blues Foundation and Bedford Blues Community are delighted to announce a new partnership with Autism Bedfordshire to provide bespoke sessions for their service users.
Running in eight-week blocks, these sessions will use rugby and multi-sport to have a positive impact on the lives of all participants, ensuring a weekly active workout to promote positive physical and mental health.
The launch date for the project is Thursday 15th October 2020 at Castle Newnham School in Bedford (MK40 9DT). Each session will last one hour between 4:30-5:30pm every Thursday evening throughout the course.
The course is perfect for autistic young people, aged 10-17, with parents and carers permitted to remain on site throughout the sessions if they so wish.
In line with our COVID-19 risk management strategy, places on the initial block of eight weeks have been limited to eight participants. This will be altered for future courses if government and RFU guidelines change.
For more information and to book your child onto the course, please call 01234 214871 or email enquiries@autismbeds.org.
